Flower Child

Woo, comic on time two weeks in a row! Hoping I can keep this up now that I seem to be getting better at doing the comics in traditional media. They go a lot faster that way.
Apparently people who walk around barefoot are dirty hippies. Who knew?
I’m planning on going up to Raleigh next weekend to visit some friends at the Raleigh renaissance faire. Maybe I’ll be able to poke Michelle into giving me a blurb!
As for me…I finally got off my butt and registered for the LSAT. I have a little under 3 months to get my brain back into shape. So…logic puzzles it is for me! Anybody else planning on taking ‘em in June? It cost $130 to register. @_@ Yeesh. At least it’s good motivation to make sure I don’t back out.
Looking Up

Things are looking up for Thelesis! Poor girl can’t get a break…For some reason, I really love this comic. Not sure why.
This past week at work has been a nightmare. Three parties involved…our client, us, and the software provider. Software provider has a bad habit of telling the client things are ready when they aren’t. End-of-quarter fires ensue, and we have to put them out. I worked from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM straight on Friday. Fun times were had by all. Were these programmers not in CANADA, whilst I waste away in NC, I believe one of them in particular might have my foot firmly planted up his behind.
This week has been pretty awful for me in terms of poor programmers and not being able to sleep, but things seem to be looking up. Maybe that’s why I like today’s comic so much.
Minion Report

Back to the comic. Looks like the crud I picked up at the convention is gone, and the new roommate is moved in. Things should be settling down around here soon. This comic has been in the works for about 3 weeks. Finally done…whew. Right now our goal is to just get back to the regular schedule.
Picking up where we left off, Thel is mourning her favorite shoes while Anya gets rid of Sam and his crazy ideas of chivalry. Rhysta and Evalie are on their way home after resolving a minor misunderstanding. And as far as we know, Ancestor the Musical is still on schedule. Can’t wait to open up the arc that focuses on that!
Tapped Out

Ugh. I actually have drawn the comic for last Monday, but the inking process went all to hell and I started feeling ill, so it’s going to be redone. I am halfway through it, but as KATSUCON is this weekend and I need something to have at my art table, I am going to be hyper-focusing on making art all week. Comic will return to it’s regularly scheduled …uh, schedule next week.
For now, here’s a snapsketch of me at What-The-Hell con in Greensboro this past weekend. Ultimately I decided to buy both a Gravyboy tee AND a Devil’s Panties tee. Both comics are quality, grade A amusement.
I also met Kel from Sorcery 101, and I’ve started reading that comic. It’s quite amusing so far, although I’ve only gotten through Oct 2005. You know…have to actually WORK at work and stuff…
The Struggle Within

Poor Sam, he never gets a break.
This is my last free week before con season officially starts for me…this weekend is Winter University (SCA), and I’m teaching a class. Then there’s WTH con, which is local, and the following weekend is Katsucon in DC, where I have an AA table. I’ll be doing sketches and commissions there, so come by and see me!
Also of note, I’m getting a new car! My current car is on her last little arthritic legs…I’m thinking it might be a good idea to go ahead and trade it in before something else major breaks, like the transmission. I just laid out $350 to fix an oil leak. Well, to be fair, it was actually three oil leaks. But still…that’s a car payment right there. And the past three months have been similar.
Still figuring out formatting and such for the new site; hope you guys like it. Please let me know of any viewing problems; that helps us fix them faster!
